PFD FIT and Brussels Hub February 2023 Workshop

On February 7th, Mr. Spiros Voyadzis, CEO of the PFD Group, addressed over 220 participants in a meeting organized by Belgium’s Ministry of Finance on how to access the MDBs. Following this meeting, Belgium’s Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) and the Brussels Hub organized an interactive Workshop led by Spiros on how private sector companies can win contracts funded by the MDBs on February 8th and 9th. The Workshop was attended by over 20 participants. Spiros’ presentation over the two-day Workshop included an overview of the PFD Group’s methodology, how COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine has impacted the MDB market, as well as the specific challenges private sector companies may encounter during the bidding process. On the second day of the Workshop, redacted Expressions of Interest and Tenders were presented to participants who were then asked to analyze real business cases and discuss what makes for a successful proposal.
